Case: Death at Area 51
Location: Area 51, Nevada, United States
Date of Incident: 13 September 2024
Hi Detective,
Background:
Area 51, also known as Paradise Ranch, is infamous for its secrecy and links with alleged extraterrestrial activity. Many believe it is where the U.S. test extraterrestrial technology and potentially house beings from other planets. The U.S. government have confirmed that it uses Area 51 as a military base for the U.S. Air Force.
Ever since it was first used as a military base in the 1950s, civilians have reported various sightings of unexplained flying objects (UFOs) within the perimeter of Area 51. For example, ex-employee, Bob Lazar, claimed in 1989 that he was contracted to work with alien spacecraft that the government had in its possession. Various ex-employees have since made similar claims. No such claim has ever been proved.
What is known for certain is that Area 51 is closed to all except its employees, their spouses, and personnel with special authorization. The death of chemical engineer, Noémie Boljvic, ten days ago, was presumed a tragic accident until investigative journalist, Jon McFadden, contacted us with a hunch that Noémie was murdered. You have been provided with our full correspondence.
Your Mission:
I have compiled a list of six possible suspects: Harry L. Johnson, Leila Hariri, Natalia Wirst, Otis Dowley, Steven Xin, and finally, we cannot discount the possibility of alien interference.
-
Start by collecting as much information as possible about these six suspects and the deceased.
-
Next, determine potential motives and opportunities for each suspect, by seeking evidence of jealousy, conflicts, or disputes that may have created a motive for the crime.
-
Then identify their whereabouts and activities at the date and time of the death.
-
To finally solve the case, access to Noémie’s smartphone will be crucial. Dig through the evidence to find clues to what the passcode to her phone might be. Gain access to the phone by entering the passcode into the online portal. Review her communications, browsing history, and recent activities to look for evidence incriminating any one of the suspects.
Identify The Killer:
Based on the evidence gathered, identify the most likely suspect and build a compelling case against them. Enter the name of the identified suspect on the online portal, and your reasons for suspecting them, to find out if it's correct. Your dedication and thoroughness in conducting this investigation are paramount.
Good luck!
