Case: Body found near the Eiffel Tower

Location: Paris, France

Date of Incident: Sunday 6 April 2023

Hi Detective,

I’ve got an unusual one for you – my cousin Florent is a detective in Paris, and he’s asked if we can take a look at something for him. I owe the guy a favor because he once helped me out with a little matter involving an injured terrier and an Elvis impersonator (don’t ask) so I said yes, and he sent over their files.

Here’s the deal: At 4:34am on Thursday, April 6th, the body of a man was discovered under the Eiffel Tower next to the South pillar. He clearly fell from a great height, so it seems he was attempting to climb the tower but slipped and fell.

However, there wasn’t as much blood around the body as would be expected - it seems someone might have washed it away. That means he might have landed at another point beneath the tower and his body was moved, then the blood washed away to remove the trail. Take a look at the report tell me what you think. I’ve included a fact page about the tower, which might be of use – and it’s always nice to learn something new, isn’t it?

Good luck
